TETSWORTH GIVE PREFAB THE BOOT

ALL CHANGE FOR TETSWORTH AS PREFAB GETS THE BOOT

It’s all change down at Tetsworth as the village’s Sports and Social Club look forward to a revamp of their facilities. The Football Foundation, the UK’s largest sports charity, has given the Oxfordshire club a massive grant of £96,635.

The money will allow the club to construct a new pavilion, incorporating two well equipped team changing rooms, a further two officials changing rooms, improved spectator facilities and a social area. In keeping with Foundation policy the new complex will be fully accessible for the disabled.

The club currently use a dilapidated prefabricated building as changing rooms for their teams, this will now be relegated as work starts on the new building.

The good news however doesn’t stop there – the new facilities will increase access to the game for the town’s footy mad youngsters. A new youth section will be added providing a new mixed mini soccer squad and also establishing new girls and women’s’ teams.
